Last October one of my large charcoal drawings was accepted in the Works on Paper exhibition at the Perkins Center for the Arts in New Jersey. This picture was taken at the opening reception.
This is a recent pencil sketch of the image in the above photograph. I keep making versions of this image over and over in a variety of media. Each time the image changes a little. I like the idea of redrawing an image over and over and watching it evolve and transform over time.
Recently moved into a new studio in the Port Richmond section of Philly. This is a sampling of the new paintings I am working on. I work slowly and intuitively so I am not exactly sure where these paintings are going.
